Myra Shrivastava
Hi! I am Myra Shrivastava, a sophomore from Short Hills, NJ. I've been involved in robotics for over 5 years, competing in VEX IQ and VRC competitions. Through these experiences I've learned the power of teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving that robotics brings to students. Along the way, I also noticed something important: not every school or student has the same access to robotics programs, resources, or mentorship. Many talented and curious students are left without the opportunity to explore STEM simply because of limited access. That realization inspired me to start this initiative of bringing robotics education directly into schools, so every student can experience the excitement of building, coding, and creating.

Celina Chen
Hi! I'm Celina Chen, a sophomore from Short Hills, NJ. I am passionate about STEM and robotics, having spent the last 3 years participating in VEX IQ and VRC competitions. STEM has shaped how I see the world: with innovation, critical thinking, and resourcefulness. I hope to share these skills and insights that I have gained from robotics with other young and curious students. My experiences tutoring middle schoolers in writing, as well as at local arboretums and summer camps have driven me to create opportunities for all communities and backgrounds through RoboRoots. By mentoring and empowering other students, I aim to pave the way for the next generation of leaders and innovators.
